While I am fond of my work on MAGOG, it really is a bit of a disaster. Some of the random tables (especially "what did you lose," "who stayed," and "who left") are a little rough and inconsistent. You can get contradictory results from them.

I think Oz Browning did it better, albeit for a very different setting. You should check out his work here.
