Han Solo

I guess it would be helpful to give an example of building a character.

These are my rules, so I feel welcomed to cheat.

Instead of randomly rolling, I'm going to simply pick four Words (three Advantages and a Failing).

The Advantages are Cunning, Lasers, and Ships. The Failing is Feelings.

Meet Han Solo. He expertly pilots Millenium Falcon, he cunningly and callously blasts Greedo down, yet he is awkward and fumbling when he tries to engage with Leia.

One of the three narrative strands in the Original Trilogy is focused on Han's efforts to mitigate his Failing. By the end of Episode VI, he has matured into a man capable of genuine emotion, though he still tries to conceal that vulnerability. Not much else has changed; he's still skilled with a ship and a blaster, still a clever rogue. But the enrichment of his Feelings provides a satisfying narrative arc.

The Mad Hermit intends to focus game play on evolution of the characters through the challenges they face.
